Serving Size 1 cocktail

Equipment

  • Large pitcher or glass jar
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing spoon
  • Small saucepan
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Serving glasses
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle white wine Moscato preferred; any sweet variety
  • 1 cup mango rum
  • 0.5 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup or sugar to taste
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mango diced
  • 1 cup club soda add just before serving
  • extra fruit slices optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash and slice the strawberries; dice the mango.
  • In a large pitcher, combine fruit, white wine, mango rum, triple sec, and orange juice.
  • Stir gently. Add simple syrup or sugar to taste and stir again.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to infuse and chill.
  • Just before serving, pour in the club soda. Stir gently.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with extra fruit slices if desired.

Notes

Use Moscato for a soft, fruity base; a less-sweet Pinot Grigio also works. For a stronger kick, add more mango rum. Best served the same day; leftovers keep ~24 hours. Try pineapple juice instead of orange for a tropical twist. Simple syrup dissolves more easily than sugar.
