Strawberry Lemonade Fizz Cocktail Recipe

Strawberry Lemonade Fizz Cocktail Recipe
I mix fresh strawberries, lemon, and club soda to make a bright, sparkling drink. My recipe is easy to follow and uses common kitchen equipment and simple ingredients.

Equipment

  • A muddler or wooden spoon helps me crush the strawberries and bring out their flavor.
  • I always grab a shaker to mix the lemon juice, strawberries, and syrup together.
  • When I want a clear drink, I pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
  • For serving, I fill a tall glass with ice.
  • I use a jigger or measuring cup to get the right amounts for each ingredient.
  • I keep a stirring spoon nearby to blend the fizz with the rest of the mix before I serve it.
  • A citrus juicer gives me fresh lemon juice with less effort.
  • If I want to make a large batch, I sometimes use a large pitcher and mix everything together before pouring into glasses.

Ingredients

Here's a quick ingredient list:

  • Fresh strawberries 4 berries sliced
  • Lemon juice 2 oz
  • Simple syrup 1–1.5 oz
  • Vodka 2 oz
  • Club soda 4 oz
  • Ice As needed
  • Mint lemon, garnish As desired

Instructions

  • First, I place the sliced strawberries and simple syrup in the bottom of my shaker.
  • I use my muddler to press and smash the berries until they release their juice.
  • Next, I add the lemon juice and vodka (if using) to the shaker.
  • I fill the shaker with ice, put on the lid, and shake for about 10 seconds.
  • After shaking, I strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with fresh ice using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Finally, I pour club soda over the top and give it a gentle stir so the bubbles are not lost.
  • For a pretty finish, I top the drink with a lemon wheel, a strawberry slice, or a mint sprig.

Notes

I like using ripe strawberries because they are sweeter and add more flavor.
If I want to make the drink ahead, I keep the strawberry-lemon mix in the fridge and add the club soda right before serving.
This keeps the fizz strong.
For a sweeter drink, I add more syrup or use flavored sparkling water.
When making a non-alcoholic version, I just skip the vodka and add more soda.
I always taste the drink before serving and add more lemon or syrup if it needs balancing.
I avoid over-shaking the soda so it doesn’t go flat.
If serving a group, I double or triple the recipe and mix in a pitcher, only adding soda after pouring the drinks into glasses.
