  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Pitcher
  • Tall glass

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup brewed and cooled green tea
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup pick one
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 0.5 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • 2-3 mint leaves for garnish
  • ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon crushed freeze-dried strawberries for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Brew green tea and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Muddle sliced strawberries and mint leaves in a glass or pitcher.
  • Add lemon or lime juice and sweetener, then stir until dissolved.
  • Pour in cooled green tea and mix well.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Top with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to keep the fizz.
  • Garnish with mint or a sprinkle of freeze-dried strawberries if desired.

Notes

Use chilled green tea for the best results. Sweetener is flexible—honey blends well with tea, maple syrup adds depth. Make the tea and strawberry base ahead and add sparkling water right before serving. Garnish with freeze-dried berries for a fun twist.
