Instructions
Juice the citrus
Squeeze fresh lemon and lime (or blood orange) juice into a large pitcher.
Add color
Stir in activated charcoal powder or a few drops of black food coloring until the lemonade turns a spooky dark black.
Mix the base
Pour in cranberry juice, grape juice, and a splash of pineapple or orange juice. Stir well.
Sweeten it
Add simple syrup, honey, or agave to taste. Stir until combined.
Add fizz
Slowly pour in sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale. Stir gently to keep the bubbles.
Add berries
Lightly mash blackberries and add them to the pitcher or individual glasses.
Serve
Fill glasses with ice cubes or frozen berries. Pour in the black lemonade.
Garnish & smoke (optional)
Add spooky garnishes like gummy worms or a cinnamon stick. Drop a small piece of dry ice into each glass right before serving for a dramatic smoky effect.
