Instructions
In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, lemon juice, pumpkin syrup, pumpkin puree, simple syrup (if using), and all spices.
Add ice cubes, then shake hard for 15 seconds to chill and mix.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
Carefully use tongs to add a small piece of dry ice for a smoky fog effect.
Garnish with star anise or a sprinkle of pumpkin spice, if desired.
Wait until the dry ice fully dissolves before sipping.
