  • Citrus juicer
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Small saucepan
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry juice unsweetened or sweetened
  • 1 cup orange juice fresh squeezed if possible
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon whole cranberries fresh or frozen, for garnish
  • orange slices for garnish
  • fresh basil leaves optional, for garnish
  • ice cubes for serving
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar or honey optional, for extra sweetness

Instructions

  • Simmer sliced ginger and cinnamon (stick or ground) with 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • In a pitcher, mix cranberry juice, orange juice, ginger ale, and sparkling water.
  • Add cooled spice infusion to the pitcher. Add sugar or honey if desired and mix well.
  • Fill glasses with ice and pour in the mocktail. Garnish with cranberries, orange slices, and basil.

Notes

For extra fizz, add ginger ale and sparkling water right before serving. Unsweetened cranberry juice keeps it tart; add honey for more sweetness. Basil or mint add a fresh herbal note.
