  • Citrus juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle 750ml dry white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 2 limes sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Wash and slice all citrus fruits into thin rounds.
  • Pour the white wine into the pitcher.
  • Add the sliced citrus fruits to the wine.
  • Mix in the fresh orange juice and lemon juice.
  • Add the simple syrup and stir gently.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours to let the flavors blend.
  • Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir once.
  • Fill wine glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the sangria into glasses and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

The sangria can be made up to 4 hours ahead of time. Add the sparkling water right before serving to keep the bubbles fresh.
You can adjust the simple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
Store any leftover sangria in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
For best results, use fresh-squeezed citrus juices instead of bottled versions.
