Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blood orange juice about 3–4 blood oranges
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¾ cup cranberry juice
  • ¼ cup simple syrup or honey adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger thinly sliced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or ginger beer
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Blood orange lemon, and lime slices, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, muddle the sliced ginger and rosemary using a muddler or the back of a spoon.
  • Add the blood orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice to the pitcher.
  • Pour in the cranberry juice and simple syrup (or honey), and stir well.
  • Add the cold water and mix to combine.
  • Optional: Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer for a smoother drink.
  • Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the citrus mixture into each glass until about ⅔ full.
  • Top off each glass with lemon-lime soda or ginger beer for a fizzy finish.
  • Garnish with blood orange, lemon, or lime slices, and serve immediately.
