Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Blender
  • Tall glass or clear mug
  • Small spoon
  • Measuring jigger or tablespoon

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup or honey
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla syrup
  • 1 tbsp blue curacao syrup non-alcoholic
  • 0.5 cup Sprite or lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 tsp peppermint syrup or agave syrup optional
  • crushed candy canes for garnish
  • edible glitter for garnish

Instructions

  • Blend crushed ice until fine and fluffy.
  • Add pineapple juice, simple syrup or honey, vanilla, and blue curacao syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake for 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
  • Top with Sprite or lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to keep the color bright and layers distinct.
  • Garnish with crushed candy canes and edible glitter before serving.

Notes

Use agave syrup for a lighter sweetness. Add peppermint extract for a sharper minty note if desired. Chill your glass first to keep the slush cold longer. Add garnish just before serving for the best presentation.
