Snowball Cocktail
The Snowball cocktail is a nostalgic, creamy drink that blends advocaat, citrus juice, and lemonade or lemon-lime soda for a fizzy, festive finish that's both light and smooth.

- Highball glass or cocktail glass
- Bar spoon

Ingredients
- 2 oz advocaat Dutch liqueur
- 1 oz lime or lemon juice
- 3-4 oz lemonade or lemon-lime soda
- 0.5 oz amaretto optional
- ice cubes
- lemon wedge or wheel for garnish
- maraschino cherry for garnish
- sugar for rim, optional
Instructions
- Chill the glass with ice cubes. Optionally, rub a lemon wedge around the rim and dip it in sugar.
- Add advocaat and lime juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Top with lemonade or lemon-lime soda and stir gently with a bar spoon.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and a maraschino cherry.
Notes
Use fresh citrus juice for the best flavor. Adjust advocaat and soda ratios to change creaminess and sweetness. Different glassware changes the drink's feel, from casual to classy.
