A bold twist on the Paloma, blending smoky mezcal, crisp tequila, fresh grapefruit, and lime juice. Finished with a salted rim and bubbles—complex, refreshing, and perfect for warm weather.
grapefruit wedge or rosemary sprigfor garnish, optional
Instructions
Rim the glass with lime juice and dip it into sea salt.
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
Add mezcal, tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Shake for 10–15 seconds until nicely chilled.
Strain into a salt-rimmed glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently.
Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or rosemary sprig.
Notes
Use more tequila than mezcal for a lighter drink. Agave syrup gives a deeper sweetness. A pinch of sea salt wakes up the citrus. Chill the glass before serving for a colder drink. Rosemary garnish adds herbal aroma that pairs well with mezcal.
