  • Cocktail syringes (1–2 oz, food-safe)

  • Small mesh strainer (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mixing spoon
  • Zester or peeler (optional, for garnish)

Ingredients

Sangria Base:

  • 1 bottle 750 ml dry red wine
  • ½ cup apple brandy or bourbon or dark rum
  • ¼ cup orange liqueur Triple Sec, Cointreau, or orange juice
  • ½ cup pomegranate or cranberry juice
  • ¼ cup blood orange juice or regular orange juice
  • ¼ cup grenadine for bold red color and sweetness
  • ¼ cup sugar adjust to taste

Fruit & Garnish:

  • 1 medium apple chopped
  • 1 medium orange sliced
  • ½ lemon sliced
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Extra fruit for garnish
  • Optional: gummy worms or blood orange slices

Finishing Touch:

  • 1 cup club soda or Sprite added just before serving
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine wine, apple brandy, orange liqueur, pomegranate juice, orange juice, grenadine, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Add chopped fruit, blackberries, lemon, orange, apple, and cinnamon sticks. Stir gently.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best flavor).
  • Just before serving, stir in club soda or Sprite.
  • Fill cocktail syringes with sangria (or a mix of grenadine + juice for dramatic "blood" shots).
  • Serve sangria over ice in glasses and add one filled syringe to each.
  • Garnish with fruit, gummy worms, or a cinnamon stick.
