  • Wooden spoon or long stirrer
  • Measuring jigger or small measuring cup
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Cutting board and sharp knife
  • Cocktail glasses or stemless wine glasses
  • Small strainer
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry red wine 750 ml
  • 0.5 cup vodka
  • 0.25 cup grenadine
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • 1 cup club soda or lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 lime thinly sliced
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Slice strawberries, pineapple, and lime into small pieces.
  • Add wine to a large pitcher.
  • Pour in vodka, grenadine, lime juice, and orange juice.
  • Stir well with a wooden spoon.
  • Add fruit slices and let the mix chill in the fridge for 1–2 hours.
  • Just before serving, add soda for fizz.
  • Fill glasses with ice and pour sangria over top.
  • Garnish with an extra strawberry or lime slice.

Notes

Use fresh fruit for the best flavor and color. Adjust sweetness with grenadine or simple syrup as desired. For a stronger cocktail, add more vodka; for a lighter one, increase the soda. Rim glasses with sugar for a festive touch.
