Ingredients

  • 2 oz salted caramel vodka or regular vodka + 1/2 oz caramel syrup
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur Kahlúa or any brand
  • 1 oz Irish cream or heavy cream for extra richness
  • 1/2 oz salted caramel sauce or caramel syrup + pinch sea salt
  • sea salt for rimming
  • caramel sauce for rimming and drizzling
  • ice cubes
  • whipped cream optional topping

Instructions

  • Dip the rim of your rocks glass in caramel sauce, then into sea salt for a sweet/salty rim.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add salted caramel vodka, coffee liqueur, Irish cream (or heavy cream), and salted caramel sauce.
  • Add a few ice cubes and shake gently just to mix and chill.
  • Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  • Drizzle with more caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt if desired.
  • Optional: Top with whipped cream and another drizzle of caramel for a true dessert finish.

Notes

If you only have regular vodka, just add 1/2 oz caramel syrup or sauce to get the flavor. Use a mix of Irish cream and heavy cream for extra richness, or half-and-half to keep it lighter. The caramel and salt rim is a must! Stir in the glass if you don't have a shaker. Adjust sweetness or creaminess to taste. Flavored coffee liqueurs work great for variety.
