Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Heatproof mug
  • Wooden spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Whisk
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz whiskey or salted caramel whiskey
  • 0.5 cup apple cider
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp salted caramel sauce
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish
  • 1 slice lemon for garnish
  • sea salt pinch, optional

Instructions

  • Warm the apple cider in a small saucepan over low heat (do not boil).
  • Stir in the honey and salted caramel sauce until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat, then add whiskey and lemon juice.
  • Pour into a heatproof mug.
  • Add the cinnamon stick and let steep for 1–2 minutes.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and a pinch of sea salt if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Use salted caramel whiskey for a richer caramel flavor, or regular whiskey plus caramel sauce for a smoother drink. Adjust honey and lemon to taste. Never let cider boil—gentle heat keeps flavors fresh.
