Equipment

  • Tall glass
  • Small plate
  • Jigger or measuring spoons
  • Mixing spoon or stir stick
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Peeler or zester
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup apple cider or sparkling apple cider
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or ginger ale chilled
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • cinnamon pinch
  • sea salt pinch for rim or sprinkle
  • cinnamon sugar for rimming glass
  • apple slice or wedge for garnish
  • cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim your glass with lemon juice, then dip it in cinnamon sugar.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce into the bottom and over the rim if desired.
  • Add ice until the glass is about halfway full.
  • Pour in apple cider and apple juice.
  • Add lemon juice and a pinch of cinnamon. Stir gently to mix in the caramel.
  • Slowly pour in the sparkling water or ginger ale.
  • Top with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top to finish.

Notes

Chill all ingredients for maximum fizz. For a sweeter drink, add more caramel or swap ginger ale for sparkling water. Use fresh-pressed apple juice if available. Prep everything but the sparkling water and ice ahead for easy assembly. A pinch of salt is enough to bring out the caramel flavor.
