Ingredients

  • 4 oz coconut water
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Mint sprig for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour the white rum, coconut water, and fresh lime juice into the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Fill a highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and optional mint sprig.

Notes

The best results come from using fresh coconut water rather than processed versions. Natural coconut water adds subtle sweetness and minerals to the drink.
Store-bought coconut water works in a pinch. Look for brands without added sugars or preservatives.
