  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Small saucepan

  • Coupe or martini glass

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka neutral
  • 0.5 oz limoncello
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz rosemary simple syrup see notes for prep
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wheel or rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare rosemary syrup ahead by simmering sugar, water, and rosemary sprigs for 5 min, then cool and strain.
  • Fill shaker with ice. Add vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and rosemary syrup.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. (Optional: sugar rim.)
  • Garnish with lemon wheel or rosemary sprig.

Notes

Tweak rosemary syrup to taste if lemons are sharp. For more herbal flavor, add rosemary sugar to rim. Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest result. Add a splash more syrup for extra sweetness. Chill glass for a crisper drink.
