Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon Woodford Reserve or Maker’s Mark
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz rosemary honey syrup equal parts honey and water, simmered with rosemary
  • 2-3 dashes bitters optional
  • club soda for topping
  • ice cubes
  • fresh rosemary sprig for garnish
  • lemon wheel or wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour bourbon, lemon juice, and rosemary honey syrup into a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake for about 15 seconds to chill.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Add 2–3 dashes of bitters if desired.
  • Top with a splash of club soda for fizz.
  • Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon wheel. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use quality bourbon for best flavor. The rosemary honey syrup can be prepped ahead (equal parts honey and water with rosemary, simmer 5 min). Adjust syrup or lemon for sweetness and citrus level. Garnish isn't just for looks—the aroma really pops!
