Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin Bombay Sapphire or similar
  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice ruby red preferred
  • 0.5 oz rosemary simple syrup
  • 4 oz tonic water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary for garnish
  • grapefruit wedge or slice for garnish

  • Strain into a highball glass packed with fresh ice.
  • Top slowly with tonic water. Stir gently.

Notes

Use fresh grapefruit juice and a good-quality tonic for best flavor. Rosemary syrup keeps a week in the fridge. Adjust syrup for sweetness, or bump up the gin for extra kick.
