0.5vanilla bean or vanilla extract1/2 bean or 1/2 tsp extract
0.5cupsparkling water
1tsplemon juiceoptional
Ice cubes
Crushed roasted chestnutsfor garnish

Instructions
Brew dark roast coffee in moka pot and let cool. In a shaker, mix chestnut syrup and cooled coffee.
Add ice cubes, vanilla bean seeds (or extract), and lemon juice if using. Shake until well chilled.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Strain the mixture into the glass.
Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
Garnish with crushed roasted chestnuts. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use homemade syrup for best flavor. Cut syrup for less sweetness or add sparkling water to taste. Vanilla bean adds depth. For a cozier version, serve warm instead of iced.
