Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Muddler
  • Measuring jigger
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Tall or highball glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Small cutting board
  • Knife
  • Ice

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka plain or raspberry vodka
  • 3 oz lemonade fresh or bottled
  • 1 oz simple syrup optional, to taste
  • 4-5 fresh raspberries plus extra for garnish
  • 2-3 slices lemon for garnish
  • 2-3 oz club soda or sparkling water, to top
  • ice cubes to fill the glass and for shaking
  • frozen raspberries optional, to chill without dilution

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add vodka, lemonade, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Add the fresh raspberries and lightly muddle to release their juices.
  • Shake for 10–15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice (or frozen raspberries).
  • Top with club soda or sparkling water and stir once to combine. Garnish with lemon slices and extra raspberries.

Notes

Use chilled ingredients to keep the drink crisp. For a drier finish, skip the simple syrup. Swap in prosecco for the soda to make a sparkling wine spritzer.
