Equipment

  • Large pitcher (64 oz capacity)
  • Citrus juicer
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Long-handled spoon
  • Wine glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles rosé wine 750ml each
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 lemons thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Wash the raspberries and lemons well.
  • Slice the lemons into thin rounds.
  • Add the raspberries and lemon slices to the pitcher.
  • Pour in the rosé wine, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Stir gently with a long-handled spoon to combine.
  • Place the pitcher in the fridge for 2-4 hours to let the flavors blend.
  • Just before serving, add the club soda and stir once.
  • Fill wine glasses with ice and pour the sangria.
  • Add extra fruit and mint leaves to each glass if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover sangria without ice in the fridge for up to 2 days. The fruit will become softer over time but will still taste good.
Don't add the club soda until ready to serve. This keeps the drink fizzy.
Use a dry rosé wine rather than sweet for the best taste balance.
Make simple syrup by heating equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, then cooling completely.
