Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup orange juice no pulp
  • cup maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup cinnamon simple syrup
  • 2 cups spiced rum or whiskey
  • 1 cup vodka or dark rum
  • 1 –2 cups ginger beer or sparkling cider
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 1 orange sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 apple sliced (for garnish)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher or punch bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, apple cider, orange juice, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cinnamon simple syrup until smooth.
  • Add the spiced rum and vodka (or dark rum/whiskey) and stir well.
  • Just before serving, add a generous amount of ice and pour in the ginger beer or sparkling cider. Stir gently to combine.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if needed.
  • Serve over ice in individual glasses. Garnish each glass with orange slices, apple slices, and a cinnamon stick.
