Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin London dry recommended
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree pure pumpkin, not pie filling
  • 1 oz half-and-half or cream
  • 1 oz cream liqueur optional
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup or honey
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • ice for shaking
  • whipped cream optional, for garnish
  • cinnamon stick optional, for garnish
  • nutmeg or more ground cinnamon optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour the gin, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice syrup, and half-and-half into your cocktail shaker.
  • If using, add cream liqueur, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract.
  • Sprinkle in the pumpkin pie spice and ground cinnamon.
  • Fill shaker halfway with ice. Shake for about 20 seconds, until well chilled and frosty.
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, cinnamon stick, or a dusting of nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired.

Notes

Pumpkin spice syrup brings classic autumn flavor; swap in cream liqueur for richness. For dairy-free, use coconut cream or almond milk. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as needed. A cinnamon sugar rim or fresh grated nutmeg adds extra flair.
