Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka vanilla or pumpkin vodka optional
  • 1 oz pumpkin puree not pie filling
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice simple syrup or pumpkin simple syrup
  • 0.25 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice
  • 4 oz ginger beer spicy or regular
  • ice crushed or cubes
  • cinnamon stick optional, garnish
  • lime slice optional, garnish
  • grated nutmeg optional, garnish
  • whole cloves optional, garnish
  • allspice berries optional, garnish

Instructions

  • Fill your copper mug about halfway with crushed ice.
  • In a shaker, add vodka, pumpkin puree, lime juice, and pumpkin spice syrup.
  • Add the pumpkin pie spice.
  • Shake it up for 10–15 seconds until well mixed.
  • Strain over the ice in your mug.
  • Top with ginger beer and give it a gentle stir.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick, lime slice, or grated nutmeg if desired.

Notes

Copper mugs keep the drink colder. If out of pumpkin spice syrup, simmer sugar, water, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice until slightly thickened. Vanilla or pumpkin vodka adds warmth. Fresh lime juice is best. Use crushed ice for quicker chilling and blending. Adjust spice or sweetness as desired. Strain puree well for a smoother drink.
