fresh or frozen

pumpkin puree
canned or homemade

milk or non-dairy milk
almond, oat, etc.

plain or vanilla yogurt

maple syrup or honey
to taste

teaspoon
pumpkin pie spice
or cinnamon and nutmeg

teaspoon
vanilla extract

ice cubes
for thickness
whipped cream
optional, for topping
extra cinnamon or nutmeg
for garnish
Instructions
Add banana, pumpkin, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, pumpkin spice, vanilla, and ice to a blender.
Blend until very smooth and creamy. Taste and add more maple syrup if needed.
Pour into a glass. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Frozen banana makes it thickest and creamiest. Use dairy-free milk and yogurt for a vegan smoothie. Try topping with granola for a breakfast treat.
