Prawn-infused Gin Fizz Cocktail Recipe
A quirky, refreshing twist on the gin fizz: prawn-infused gin, lemon, fizz, and the lightest briny savor. Savory, citrusy, bubbly, and oddly delightful!

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine strainer
  • Small saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Highball glass
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin prawn-infused
  • 2 medium prawns shelled, deveined
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white optional, for foam
  • 2 oz soda water
  • ice cubes
  • lemon twist or prawn skewer for garnish

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, gently warm gin with prawns for about 5 minutes. Cool and strain to infuse.
  • Add infused gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) to a shaker. Shake without ice 10 seconds for foam.
  • Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
  • Double strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Slowly top with soda water over a bar spoon. Stir gently. Garnish with a lemon twist or tiny prawn skewer.

Notes

Keep infusion short for subtle prawn flavor. Double strain for smoothness. Use fresh prawns and juice. Skip egg white for a lighter fizz, but the foam is fun!
