This Pomegranate Whiskey Smash is bright, tart, and warming. Bourbon or whiskey, fresh pomegranate, a splash of lemon, and a little simple syrup make a bold yet easy sipper for any season. Garnish with mint for a fresh pop!
Add pomegranate seeds and mint leaves (if using) to the shaker. Muddle gently.
Pour in bourbon or whiskey, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Add ice to the shaker. Shake for about 15 seconds until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
