Equipment

  • Mixing glass or small pitcher
  • Bar spoon or long spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Measuring jigger or tablespoons
  • Highball or stemless glass
  • Small strainer
  • Ice cube tray
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp agave syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 0.5 cup sparkling water, club soda, or tonic water
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate arils or seeds
  • 2-3 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 lime slices or wedges for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • In a mixing glass, combine pomegranate juice, lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup (if using).
  • Stir until syrup is dissolved.
  • Pour the juice mixture over the ice in your glass.
  • Slowly top with sparkling water, club soda, or tonic water. Stir gently to keep the bubbles.
  • Add pomegranate seeds and mint leaves. Garnish with a lime slice or wedge.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for brightness. Tonic water gives a sharp bite, club soda is neutral, and sparkling water is lighter. Add more agave for sweetness, or freeze pomegranate seeds in your ice cubes for extra flair. Recipe easily doubles for parties.
