  • Citrus juicer
  • Collins glass
  • Ice
  • Strainer
  • Bar spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel and pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Add vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with a splash of club soda and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and a few pomegranate seeds.

Notes

Store-bought pomegranate juice works well, but fresh-squeezed juice adds extra brightness.
Make simple syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and hot water until dissolved. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For a mocktail version, replace vodka with additional pomegranate juice and club soda.
The drink can be made in large batches for parties - multiply ingredients by guest count and mix just before serving.
