Ingredients

For one serving, gather:

  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger peeled
  • Club soda
  • Ice
  • Pomegranate seeds and lime wheel for garnish

Use fresh ingredients when possible for the best taste. Pick ripe pomegranates for juicing or buy high-quality store-bought juice.

Instructions

  • Peel and chop the ginger. Put it in the shaker and muddle it.
  • Add pomegranate juice, gin, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10-15 seconds.
  • Fill a highball glass with ice.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
