I make this cocktail when I want a fruity drink with a little edge.
It uses real pomegranate juice, bourbon, and just a handful of easy ingredients to create a mix that’s both refreshing and bold.
Large pitcher or punch bowl: Makes mixing everything a breeze.
Measuring cups and spoons: I need these for accuracy.
Bar spoon or long-handled spoon: For stirring the punch.
Citrus juicer (optional but helpful): If I’m squeezing fresh lemon juice.
Ice: Essential for chilling the punch.
Serving glasses: Rocks glasses work well.
Small strainer (optional): Useful if I want to strain pulp or seeds.

Stir the mixture well for about 10-15 seconds until everything is combined.
Fill the pitcher halfway with ice to keep the punch cold.
Just before serving, gently pour in the club soda and stir to add bubbles.
Pour the punch into individual glasses filled with ice.
Garnish each glass with a spoonful of pomegranate seeds and a lemon slice or twist.
Serve immediately.
Notes
I always taste the punch before serving to check the sweetness.Sometimes pomegranate juice is tart, so I might add a bit more simple syrup if needed. To save time, I usually prep the base (juice, bourbon, syrup, lemon) ahead and stash it in the fridge.Only add ice and club soda right before serving—otherwise, the punch loses its fizz and gets watery fast.If I’m making a big batch for a party, I’ll just double or triple the recipe.Sometimes I throw in a splash of orange juice or ginger ale for a twist.Fresh lemon juice really brightens things up, but bottled works if that’s all I’ve got on hand.
