Ingredients

  • 2 oz Silver tequila
  • 1 oz Triple sec or other orange liqueur
  • 2 oz Pink lemonade or grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz Lemon juice fresh
  • 0.5 oz Lime juice fresh
  • 0.25 oz Simple syrup optional; to taste
  • Ice for shaking and serving
  • Salt or sugar for rimming glass; optional
  • Lemon slice or lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill a cocktail or margarita glass. Rim with lemon and dip in salt or sugar; fill with fresh ice if serving on the rocks.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tequila, triple sec, pink lemonade (or grapefruit juice), lemon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Shake for about 15 seconds until the shaker feels frosty.
  • Strain (fine strain if desired) into the prepared glass over fresh ice or serve up.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice or lime wheel and serve immediately.
  • Frozen option: blend all ingredients with 1 cup of ice until smooth; pour into a salted-rim glass.

Notes

Taste and adjust: add a splash more simple syrup if too tart, or extra lime if too sweet. Fresh citrus gives the cleanest, brightest flavor.
