Instructions
Chill a cocktail or margarita glass. Rim with lemon and dip in salt or sugar; fill with fresh ice if serving on the rocks.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tequila, triple sec, pink lemonade (or grapefruit juice), lemon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using).
Shake for about 15 seconds until the shaker feels frosty.
Strain (fine strain if desired) into the prepared glass over fresh ice or serve up.
Garnish with a lemon slice or lime wheel and serve immediately.
Frozen option: blend all ingredients with 1 cup of ice until smooth; pour into a salted-rim glass.
Notes
Taste and adjust: add a splash more simple syrup if too tart, or extra lime if too sweet. Fresh citrus gives the cleanest, brightest flavor.
