I prepare this Pink Pomegranate Spritz Mocktail for its light, refreshing taste and vibrant color. I use easy-to-find tools, common ingredients, and simple steps so anyone can make it at home.
1tablespoonsimple syrup or honeyoptional, adjust to taste
Ice cubes
Lime wheel or pomegranate seeds for garnish
Instructions
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, lime juice, and simple syrup or honey.
Shake for 10–15 seconds to mix well and chill the mixture.
Pour the mixture over the ice in the glass.
Top off with sparkling water or club soda.
Gently stir with a spoon to blend the layers.
Garnish with a lime wheel or a few pomegranate seeds.
Notes
I use 100% juice to keep the flavor bold and the color bright. If the mocktail is too tart, I add a little more sweetener.Sometimes I use soda water instead of club soda if I want less salt. If I do not have fresh lime, bottled lime juice works in small amounts but the taste is not as sharp. To change the flavor, I sometimes add a splash of orange juice or a few mint leaves. For gatherings, I double or triple the amounts and stir everything in a pitcher, adding the sparkling water just before serving so it stays fizzy.
