Ingredients

  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 4 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • For garnish: Fresh pineapple wedge and lime wheel

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake for 10-15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  • Fill a highball glass with fresh ice.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Top with a splash of club soda (about 1-2 oz).
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and lime wheel.

Notes

Fresh pineapple juice gives the best flavor.
You can use store-bought simple syrup or make your own by mixing equal parts sugar and hot water until dissolved.
For a spicy kick, shake in a thin slice of jalapeño.
