Pineapple Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail

Pineapple Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe
A tropical twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea—equal parts clear spirits shaken with pineapple and lemon, then finished with a quick splash of cola. Fruity, refreshing, and still plenty bold.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Bar spoon
  • Highball or tall glass
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz Vodka
  • 0.5 oz White rum
  • 0.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Tequila silver/blanco
  • 0.5 oz Triple sec orange liqueur
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz Lemon juice fresh
  • 0.25 oz Simple syrup optional; adjust to taste
  • 1 splash Cola for color and a hint of sweetness
  • Ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • Pineapple slice or lemon wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vodka, white rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Shake for 10–15 seconds until the shaker feels very cold.
  • Strain into a highball glass packed with fresh ice, then add a quick splash of cola.
  • Stir gently and garnish with a pineapple slice or lemon wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, skip the simple syrup and increase pineapple juice slightly. You can swap the cola for lemon-lime soda for a brighter finish. Always keep ingredients well chilled and use plenty of ice to balance dilution.
