A bright, tropical spin on a classic margarita—tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime, and pineapple juice with an optional splash of coconut cream. Shake, strain, and sip sunshine.
Rim a rocks or margarita glass with lime, then dip in salt or cinnamon-sugar. Fill the glass with fresh ice.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream (if using).
Shake hard for about 15 seconds until very cold.
Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a pineapple slice and lime wheel.
Notes
Use silver tequila for a crisp profile; reposado adds oak and vanilla. For a lighter drink, skip coconut cream or add a splash of soda water. Chill your glass ahead of time to keep the drink frosty longer.
