Ingredients

  • 2 oz Pimms No.1
  • 3 oz chilled eggnog store-bought or homemade
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • ground nutmeg for dusting
  • cinnamon stick optional, for garnish/stirring
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill shaker halfway with ice. Add Pimms, eggnog, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds, until well-chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled glass.
  • Dust with ground nutmeg and add a cinnamon stick, if desired.

Notes

Use less eggnog than you would for a classic pour, so the Pimms shines through. Homemade eggnog usually blends more easily than store-bought. Always use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Top with a splash of soda water if you want a lighter drink.
