Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka peppermint vodka if available
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur
  • 1 oz crème de cacao white or dark
  • 0.5 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz half-and-half or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup plus more for garnish
  • crushed candy canes or peppermint candies for rimming glass
  • whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or peppermint bark for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Chill martini glass in freezer. Rim glass with chocolate syrup, then dip in crushed candy canes or cocoa powder.
  • Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, peppermint schnapps, cream, and chocolate syrup.
  • Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until cold and frothy. Strain into chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or peppermint bark if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use peppermint vodka for extra mint kick. Try coconut milk for a lighter option. Rim with crushed peppermint for holiday flair. Chill glass for the best texture and presentation.
