Equipment

  • A tall glass
  • A spoon for stirring.
  • A knife for slicing pears
  • A measuring cup
  • A jigger or shot glass for measuring liquids

Ingredients

Here's what you'll need to make one Pear Vanilla Spritzer:

  • 2 ounces pear nectar
  • 1 ounces Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce vanilla syrup
  • 4 ounces club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Pear slices for garnish

You can find pear nectar in most grocery stores. For vanilla syrup, you can buy it ready-made or make your own by mixing equal parts sugar and water with a split vanilla bean.

Instructions

Follow these steps to make your Pear Vanilla Spritzer:

  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour 2 ounces of pear nectar and 1 ounces of vodka over the ice.
  • Add 1/2 ounce of vanilla syrup.
  • Stir gently to mix the pear nectar and vanilla syrup.
  • Top with 4 ounces of club soda.
  • Give the drink a quick stir to blend all ingredients.
  • Garnish with a fresh pear slice on the rim of the glass.

Your Pear Vanilla Spritzer is now ready to enjoy!

    Notes

This recipe is very flexible. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less vanilla syrup. For a stronger pear flavor, use more pear nectar.
To make this drink ahead of time, mix the pear nectar and vanilla syrup in advance. Add the club soda just before serving to keep the fizz.
For a twist, try adding a splash of lemon juice or a few mint leaves. You can also make it boozy by adding 1 ounce of vodka or gin.
Store any leftover pear nectar in the fridge. It will stay fresh for about a week after opening.
