Ingredients

  • 4 oz pear nectar chilled
  • 3 oz prosecco or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 oz pear brandy optional
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme plus more for garnish
  • 1 tsp sugar for thyme syrup (optional)
  • pinch cinnamon optional
  • pinch nutmeg optional
  • thin pear slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill a champagne flute in the fridge or freezer.
  • Shake pear nectar and pear brandy (if using) with a sprig of thyme and ice. Strain into the flute.
  • Slowly pour in the prosecco or sparkling wine and stir gently.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired. Garnish with a thin pear slice and thyme sprig.

Notes

Pear nectar is richer than juice; simmer juice to concentrate if needed. For a sweeter drink, make thyme syrup with sugar, water, and thyme. Add pear brandy for depth, or omit for a lighter drink. Stir gently to keep the bubbles lively.
