Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • Muddler or wooden spoon
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Mixing spoon
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Rocks glass or tumbler
  • Ice

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup or peach syrup
  • 2-3 slices fresh peach or a few chunks
  • 3 oz lemonade
  • ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • 1 wedge lemon optional, for sugared rim
  • granulated sugar optional, for rim
  • peach slice or lemon wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • (Optional) Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip in sugar; fill the glass with fresh ice.
  • Add peach slices to a shaker and muddle until juicy.
  • Add bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and simple or peach syrup. Add ice and shake about 15 seconds until very cold.
  • Fine‑strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with lemonade and give a gentle stir. Garnish with a peach slice or lemon wedge.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for best flavor. Make a quick peach syrup by simmering equal parts water and sugar with sliced peaches; strain and chill. For batching, pre‑mix bourbon, syrup, and lemon juice; add lemonade and ice right before serving.
