Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wine glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle white wine 750 ml
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 passion fruits
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes

Choose a crisp white wine like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh passion fruit adds tropical flavor, but frozen pulp works too. The other fruits give extra taste and color.

Instructions

  • Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp.
  • Add the passion fruit, orange, lemon, lime, and apple to the pitcher.
  • Pour in the sugar and brandy. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the white wine and mix well.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Just before serving, add club soda and ice.
  • Stir gently and pour into glasses.
  • Letting the sangria chill allows the flavors to blend. Add the club soda at the end to keep it fizzy.

Notes

This recipe serves 6-8 people.
For a stronger drink, add more brandy.
Use any fruits you like - berries or peaches work well too.
Make a non-alcoholic version with white grape juice instead of wine.
You can adjust this recipe to suit your taste. Try different fruits or juices for new flavor combos. Serve in a clear pitcher to show off the colorful fruit.
