  • lime slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Rub a grapefruit wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip in kosher salt for a light rim.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes and set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila blanco, fresh grapefruit juice, lime juice, coconut water, and agave syrup.
  • Shake gently for about 10 seconds to chill and mix.
  • Strain the mixture into your prepared glass.
  • Top with grapefruit soda or club soda, then give it a light stir to blend.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit slice or lime wedge.

Notes

Fresh grapefruit juice is best for flavor. Swap in club soda for a lighter drink, or add more agave for extra sweetness. Coconut water softens and smooths the citrus notes. Chill the glass to keep the drink colder longer. Great with grilled seafood, tacos, or salty snacks.
