Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Citrus juicer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tall glasses
  • Ice cube tray
  • Long spoon for stirring.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice about 4-5 large oranges
  • 1/4 cup honey simple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom water
  • 2 cups cold soda water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Squeeze the oranges using a citrus juicer to collect 2 cups of fresh juice. Strain out any pulp.
  • Pour the orange juice into a large pitcher.
  • Add honey simple syrup and orange blossom water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  • Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the orange mixture into glasses, filling them halfway.
  • Top each glass with cold soda water.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and orange slices.
  • Serve right away while the drink is cold and fizzy.

Notes

Store any leftover orange juice mixture in the fridge for up to 2 days. Do not add soda water until serving.
Add more or less honey simple syrup based on desired sweetness.
Orange blossom water has a strong flavor - start with less and add more to taste.
For best results, use freshly squeezed orange juice rather than store-bought.
Make ice cubes from orange juice to prevent the drink from becoming diluted as they melt.
