  • Tall glass or mocktail glass
  • Spoon or muddler
  • Strainer (optional)
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango or fresh ripe mango, diced
  • 3 tablespoons mango purée blend fresh mango if needed
  • 6 –8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice optional
  • 2 –3 tablespoons lemonade optional
  • 1 pinch chili powder optional
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water club soda, or lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
  • Mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Add frozen or fresh mango and a splash of coconut water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • In a serving glass, gently muddle the mint leaves to release their flavor.
  • Stir in honey (or simple syrup), lemon or lime juice, and pineapple juice if using.
  • Strain the mango purée if desired, then add to the glass.
  • Add a handful of ice cubes.
  • Pour in the remaining coconut water.
  • Top off with sparkling water, club soda, or lemon-lime soda.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of chili powder on top if you'd like a spicy kick.
  • Garnish with mint sprigs and mango slices. Serve immediately.
