Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila silver recommended
  • 1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 oz lime juice fresh
  • 1 oz cranberry juice unsweetened if possible
  • 0.5 oz pomegranate juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • ice for shaker and glass
  • fresh cranberries for garnish
  • pomegranate seeds for garnish
  • lime wedge for rim or garnish
  • salt or sugar for rim

Instructions

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass.
  • Dip the rim in salt or sugar.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds until chilled.
  • Strain into your prepared glass with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with cranberries, pomegranate seeds, or a lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use reposado tequila for a warmer flavor. Fresh lime juice is best. For a festive touch, add rosemary or rim with sugar. Adjust syrup for desired sweetness.
