This sweet and refreshing cocktail mixes fresh melon, mint, and wine for a perfect summer drink. The recipe serves 6-8 people and takes 15 minutes to prepare.
1bottle750ml white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
1cuphoneydew melon balls
1cupcantaloupe melon balls
1/2cupfresh mint leaves
1/4cuphoney
2cupsclub soda
1limesliced
Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
Wash and dry all fresh produce.
Use the melon baller to scoop balls from both melons. Set aside.
Add mint leaves and honey to the pitcher. Press gently with a wooden spoon to release mint oils.
Pour in the white wine and stir until honey dissolves.
Add melon balls and lime slices to the mixture.
Place in refrigerator for 2-4 hours to let flavors combine.
Just before serving, add club soda and ice.
Pour into wine glasses and garnish with extra mint leaves.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
