The Mint Gin Sour is a bright, fresh twist on a classic, blending crisp gin, lemon, and fresh mint with a silky foam. Refreshing and dangerously easy to sip.
Add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, crème de menthe (if using), egg white, and mint leaves to your shaker.
Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds to create foam.
Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
Dash bitters on top and garnish with a sprig of mint if desired.
Notes
Use a clean, botanical gin for best results. Crème de menthe intensifies the mint but is optional. Dry shake first for a silky texture. Bitters balance the flavors but can be left out for a softer drink.
